Callsigns are only required for gateways.

If you just want to use a PC Client, without a radio attached to your computer, you can use a callsign of your own choice, although we recommend using your name such as "SWL-BOB" or "BOB-UK".

Callsigns are validated manually, so please allow up to 72 hours for an e-mail from our database autoresponder.

For "Operators Password" please enter a password of your choice. This is for access to your gateway information control panel where you can change your preferences. You will be emailed a URL for this control panel together with your callsign.

"Locator" is your grid square locator. This is obtained by inputting to your lattitude/longitude into a Grid Square Locator.
You can obtain your lattitude/Longitude in the UK using your postcode at www.streetmap.co.uk
